The Knights Templar besieged the city of Ashkelon, the lock of Jerusalem. If Ashkelon falls, Jerusalem will be fortified and the lands of Genghis will be in danger. Saladin wants to help the Ascalans to prevent this.
But there’s a bigger problem: the Askalani are enemies of Genghis. Because of this, the Council of State did not grant permission to Saladin.
However, Saladin goes to help the people of Ascalan regardless of the council’s decision. Harder obstacles now await Saladin. During this difficult battle, a spark of love ignites between him and Sureya, the daughter of the Emir of Ashkelon.
